Green and Black Christmas Decor -Holiday Blog Hop

 IT'S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMASTIME!

Welcome! Are you coming from my friend, Janine's blog? I loooove the red touches she used throughout her home! Janine's place is always bright, cozy and cheerful. Now...Are you ready to go to the "dark side?"

I love a bright and colorful room more than you think, but these fall and winter months always have me craving dark and saturated colors. I feel the darker colors have a sort or warm, cocooning effect. I've added a lot of black in my home this year and continued to for the holidays. To bring in a bit of Christmas cheer, I added emerald green (my favorite color) and I even added a few glittery items here and there.

I love the playful vibe in here! From the bowtie art to the naughty/nice pillow. Just flip the pillow depending on your mood :)

I carried my black and green color scheme to the christmas tree, of course.

I'm sure you're all are familiar with King of Christmas, right? This is my second King of Christmas tree and I love it! This year, they were kind enough to send me a 7.5 foot slim pre-lit King Frasier. It's beautiful! You can find it and more HERE.

I love the quality of the faux pine needles. I also really love the size of it. Great for small spaces. Last year, I got a big, bushy tree, it was AMAZING too! You can see it HERE if you're curious.

Next is the dining room where I kept things a bit more simple.

and of course, where there's a banister, there must be garland...

And where there are shelves, there must be a christmas village ;)

Thanks so much for hanging out here today! I hope I inspired you to be adventurous with your holiday decor this year and think beyond the traditional christmas decor.
