Affordable Master Bathroom Options That I Hope Won't Look Affordable

Price is top priority when it comes to this bathroom renovation and is just as important as style. Like I mentioned in my previous post, we have no budget for demolition. What that means for this bathroom reno is that a lot of things are staying. Nothing will be ripped out, no plumbing will be reconfigured, no walls will be knocked out. Most of the changes will be cosmetic and really that's totally okay because everything in our bathroom works anyway, it's just that everything is, well...ugly.

Updating our Master Bath with NO Budget for Demolition

When we first bought our home in 2007 the very first thing I did was to paint the master bath. I remember that day vividly. I was the only one in the house and I was so eager to add a personal touch to our new home. I had never painted walls in my life so this was a first for me. Seeing it now I think I did a pretty good job painting that bathroom. It took me all day and all night. I remember it was so tedious and time consuming to paint such a small space. I had to squeeze my brush into every little nook and cranny while making sure I wouldn't get  paint where there shouldn't be any. We went bold and chose a beautiful turquoise color that at that time complimented the color scheme in our master bedroom. Since that day, the master bathroom hasn't changed.
