An Icy Forest Christmas Tree

21 days and $2,000 later, my Christmas tree is finally DONE (I think).

SHOP THIS CHRISTMAS TREE

OK, so I'm definitely exaggerating, but yo, decorating a Christmas tree is a lot of work! I'm looking at these pictures as I'm posting this and I'm still finding ways where I could have moved an ornament a little to the right and maybe moved another up a little more, but you know what I'm going to stop right NOW because I'm being kind of ridiculous LOL. The tree is done. D-O-N-E.

If you read my last post you know that this year I wanted a simple and natural look to my Christmas decor and that meant that I wanted my tree to look like... a TREE. This year, I didn't use any ribbon; instead I filled my tree with branches, pine cones, faux fern stems and a bunch of icicles. Adding those natural elements gave my tree a "straight from the forest" look and I absolutely love it. I didn't want the Christmas tree to look too perfect and "manicured".  I wanted the tree to look bushy, wild and somewhat grown out. I stuck with a simple color scheme of all-white and I really love how the lack of color on the ornaments really brought out the textures of the tree and branches. Anyway, here's a few pictures I snapped the other day. I didn't get too many because it started to rain on the day that I was free to take pictures so the lighting wasn't too good to work with... story of my life ๐ŸŒง

Let me know in the comments if you've already started decorating your tree and if you are like me and can't stop messing with it even after it's supposedly done, LOL. Also, if you would like some easy tips on decorating your tree, check out my advice by clicking HERE.

'Till next time!
