Stay Cool All Night with HygroCotton® Sheets

I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #HygroCotton campaign, sponsored by Welspun. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own. (Trust)

**P.S... sweepstakes at the end of this post!**

We all know how amazing it feels to have a restful night's sleep but unfortunately that doesn't always happen especially if you keep tossing and turning all night because you're literally HOT and BOTHERED. Many times, the culprits are your sheets (or acid reflux. If that's the case, then I don't know if the sheets can help you.)

Lately, I have been waking up in the middle of the night feeling super hot and moist sweaty. Yuck. (There's nothing worse than feeling damp sheets against your skin.) You know why? The sheets I had WERE NOT COTTON. They were a blend of 50% polyester and 50% cotton. I learned from a textile class I took in college that polyester is a synthetic that is made of thermoplastic and who wants plastic sheets, LOL? NOT ME! Reminds me of when sofas were covered in plastic. Have you ever sat on a plastic covered couch?! I have and it's torture. I have an Aunt (that will remain nameless) that had plastic-covered furniture along with those fuzzy beret "hats" people put on their toilets - yes she's that type. Fortunately through the years my Aunt has developed decent taste and now has very comfy, plastic-free furniture. But, I think she still insists on dressing her toilet. ( I love you, Aunt ******!)

Anyway back to the sheets. So, synthetic sheets might be OK for some, but not for me. I definitely need sheets that are breathable, and good quality cotton sheets are the most breathable types of sheets I have encountered.

You can imagine how happy I was to get the opportunity to review these Welspun HygroCotton® sheets. No more hot and sweaty nights! This could not have come at a more perfect time.

What makes these sheets different? I'm gonna tell you: It's all in the fibers. HygroCotton® fibers are spun in a way where the yarns are hollow which makes for super breathable sheets that not only wick away moisture, they also help regulate your body temperature. So in the summer the sheets will keep you cool and in the winter they will help keep you warm. This video below explains it.

Ever since I changed my sheets to the HygroCotton® sheets, I have slept SO much better. I don't wake up in the middle of the night to uncover myself because I feel too hot. The sheets seriously do what they say they do! I wake up feeling rested, refreshed & ready to work AND if you already know me, then you know that my office is my bedroom! I spend a lot of time in bed. Don't hate!

the more you wash these sheets, the softer they become

I was also able to try out HygroCotton®  bath towels and let me tell you...they are YUMMY. These bath towels are super plush and absorbent to help you get yourself dry a bit faster. It's seriously such a treat to wrap yourself up in this soft, fluffy towel after a nice shower.

ahh...so fresh and so clean...

You guys really need to treat yourself to some awesome sheets and towels. It's a luxury that is affordable and will change the way you feel every morning and every night.

You can find HygroCotton® bed sheets and bath towels at many places including Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco, Kohls, JcPenney, Walmart, Kmart and Sears. HygroCotton® is available through many different brands so any time you are looking for sheets and towels just keep your peepers opened for the word HygroCotton® and you'll know those products will be good!
